Root cause

Root cause

To solve a problem, you must first understand its root cause. Even if you can't solve the root cause directly, knowing what it is allows you to create a more effective workaround.

You can identify the root cause by repeatedly asking "But why?"—just like a child. While this process is simple, it can lead to complex insights. Knowing the underlying cause lets you make an informed decision rather than just pretending to solve the problem.
